Members of the Valier High School FFA Chapter who attended the recent John Deere Ag Expo include, bottom, Mikenzie Habel, Sierra Curry, LuLu Martin, Keira Lackner, Aiyanna Peterson, Kyleigh Brockie, Hylee Layne, Mr. Scott Simmons (advisor) and Hyrum Briggs; middle, Luke Kuka, Grace Holm; and top, Kade VanHaur, Trenton Tatsey, and Jacob Kuka.

On Nov. 14-16, the eighth annual Montana John Deere Ag Expo was held in Bozeman. Most events took place at Montana State University Campus. Over 1,600 FFA members attended the competitions, including members of the Valier High School FFA Chapter.

The competitions Valier students competed in included Agronomy, Horse Judging, Farm Business Management, Livestock Judging, Quiz Bowl and Vet Science. 

There were workshops available to all members which focused on subject areas such as wool production, potato growth and cereal quality testing. 

Students also took tours and attended the Ag Science and Ag Career fairs.
