The Pondera County Commissioners held their regularly scheduled meeting on Oct. 30. According to the draft minutes, the commissioners took the following action:

•Approved abatements in the amounts of $1,260.10 to correct delinquent fees put on the wrong record; cancelled $15.39 for improvements that should have been exempt; and made “AB-26 adjustments” in the amounts of $1,002.90 and $876.97.

 •Renewed the Sheriff’s Department’s sonic firewall subscription in the amount of $1,926.00. The subscription is for a period of five years.

•Appointed Chris Vermulm as Pondera County’s representative to the Marias Fair Board. Rita Rae Weisgram is stepping down after 54 years as a 4-H leader and Fair Board member.
