These nine Valier High School Class of 2020 graduates are ready to get the show on the road as they pose one last time before graduation. Pictured are, left to right, Salutatorian Hannah Christiaens, Kaylin Gossard, Brett Monroe, Teanna Boggs-Layne, Kasen Kovatch, Tabitha Suek, Chance Peterson, MaKenna VandenBos, and Valedictorian Abigail Bock.

Nine students graduated from Valier High School on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon on the Valier Panther football field allowing for social distancing and more people to be able to attend. The graduates were all smiles as they enjoyed their moment in the “sun” receiving their diplomas from a family member to keep with the current regulations. It was a very heartfelt moment watching parents present the diplomas. The wind tried to put a damper on their spirits but this amazing group of young adults took it all in stride by not worrying about what just blew off of their attire. Look for a recap of the scholarships awarded to these students in a future issue.
