Absentee ballots for the Federal Primary Election were mailed on May 11 to all voters on the Absentee Voter list. According to Pondera Clerk and Recorder Kody Farkell, 1,797 ballots were mailed out last Friday.

Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot, even if the voter is capable of voting in person on Election Day.  

An absentee ballot can be requested up until noon on the day before the election, Monday, June 4.  

The voted ballot must be returned by 8 p.m., on Election Day, Tuesday, June 5.  

A request form may be completed at the Clerk and Recorder’s office on the main floor of the courthouse, or, you can simply write a request for a ballot.
