Pondera Medical Center (PMC) was awarded the silver Aster Award for its entry in the single entry billboard category of this year’s contest. The billboard was ranked in the top 12% in the nation for hospitals of similar size. The billboard was featured on Main Street in Conrad, through a contract with Lamar Advertising.
The Aster Awards, one of the largest and most respected national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Creative Images, Inc. This elite program has recognized outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts for over 19 years.
Congratulations to PMC’s Marketing Director Casey Rasmussen for receiving the award. The Aster award honors excellence in healthcare advertising. Winning entries are judged by a diverse panel of industry experts and must score in the top tiers among similar sized organizations to be recognized.
Rasmussen’s billboard design promotes the message, “Your health matters because moments matter.” “We are very proud of Casey and the award just confirms what we’ve known all along; she does an exceptional job for our organization,” said PMC Chief Executive Officer Bill O’Leary.
The billboard is one of a series that Rasmussen has developed which is visible to traffic on Conrad’s Main Street. The billboard depicts a harvest field and a father-son moment that gives a community pause to consider what the real motivation is to pursue good health.
Rasmussen is passionate about the importance of PMC and it shows in everything she produces for the facility. Her work has increased public awareness of facility operations on social media, print media and radio and has become a vital piece of community education during the COVID-19 Pandemic. “To be recognized by peers is something every professional desires. I am humbled and happy. Pondera Medical Center has really, really, good people on the front lines and behind the scenes and it’s my honor to be the person who shares their work with the community we serve. Family and agriculture are what make our lives in Pondera County so special. I’m glad this captured both,” said Rasmussen.
The 2020 Aster Awards received entries from across the entire United States. All entries are reviewed by a panel of industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 percent. Participant’s entries compete against similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories.
