Summer is flying by and the Valier Area Development Corporation is planning a community event on Thursday, July 25 with hope it will give residents a chance to slow down and enjoy an evening together. “We just want to get community members together to enjoy an evening of food, fun, and conversation with their neighbors,” invited VADC’s Cheryl Curry. “We especially want to thank the community for its continued support of VADC and to welcome new comers as well,” she added.

The community barbecue will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the Downtown Park, which is located on the corner of Teton Avenue and Montana Street in Valier.

The VADC will be serving free hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, beans and root beer floats, along with lemonade, tea and water. Games, including corn hole and ladder golf, will be available for attendees to play.

The VADC will also have history displays set up, music, and will be making a surprise announcement during the event.

“Bring your own chairs and plan to stick around for a while and enjoy the evening with friends,” encouraged Curry.
