The fall meeting of Valier Area Development Corporation (VADC) is set for Monday, Sept. 16, at the Valier Library at 6:30 p.m.  After a brief business meeting and election of officers, the Pondera Health Care Foundation (PHCF) will be present to ask for input on their Community Health Needs Assessment.  This will be the opportunity for Valier area residents to bring their ideas and concerns to the PHCF for consideration in their goal setting for the coming years.

Other business the VADC will be working on in the coming months includes planning for the annual ice fishing derby, which is scheduled for Jan. 18, 2020; visioning for the winter light festival in Valier; the Lake Francis Triple P Triathlon; and review of Lake Francis camp-ground fix up progress and “to-do” list.

All area residents are invited and encouraged to attend and “put their two cents worth” in on what the VADC and community needs and should be doing.  Every idea is welcome and worth consideration!
