Pondera County Sheriff Robert Skorupa confirmed that three Pondera County Sheriff’s deputies and one dispatcher have resigned recently. Skorupa said he was informed on Tuesday, May 21, the deputies were hired by Glacier County to fill vacant positions.

According to Capt. Tom Seifert of the Glacier County  Sheriff’s Office, William “Billy Gobert, David Spotted Eagle, Sr., and Michael Brown  were hired earlier this week.

The dispatcher resigned for personal reasons.

“We have applications for the Dispatcher position open until the end of the month, and have a part-time Dispatcher already helping fill in,” said Sheriff Skorupa. “We already have a hiring pool for the deputy positions,” he added.

“We will be working diligently getting personnel hired as soon as possible. I am appreciative for the time they have worked for Pondera County, and wish the best for them on their new job opportunities,” concluded Sheriff Skorupa.
