The Valier Schools board of trustees met on Tuesday, Sept. 14 and approved using ESSR III grant funds to repair the boiler at the Valier Elementary School.

According to Superintendent Craig Widhalm, the cost to replace the pumps and do other needed updating will be approximately $20,000.

Widhalm also announced Valier Schools was selected as the Regional 6 Award Recipient of the Johnson O’Malley Award. “This is a great honor for our district and shows how hard our teachers and staff have worked to improve the education of our students.”
