The Homesteader Days celebration is coming up fast! This year’s event is scheduled for June 21-23 and will feature a few new events.
In addition to the many crowd favorites, such as the Saturday parade, co-ed softball tournament and annual poker ride, this year’s festivities will also include the Homesteader Hustle 5K Walk-Run to benefit the new Valier Food Pantry and Celtic Guitarist Jerry Barlow performing at the Valier Public Library. The fun run is slated for Saturday morning and Barlow’s concert is set for Friday night.
As in year’s past, organizers are lining up a variety of vendors and food booths in the park as well as music and games. The popular reACT Tobacco Free Children’s Rodeo will also be held in the park. Plans for the truck and tractor pull are also in the works.
Froggie’s will also be hosting several special events throughout the weekend, including minnow races, lawn dice and a post-closing breakfast!
