Reimagining Rural attendees collaborate after participating in the second virtual meeting facilitated by Tara Mastel, MSU Extension, in the Valier Public Library, last month.

Interested and enthusiastic residents gathered at the Valier Public Library for a series of three community Reimagining Rural meetings in cooperation with MSU Extension. The purpose of the meetings was to explore ways to support and improve rural communities in Montana.

Valier’s Reimagining Rural participants agreed that it was important to continue to meet locally. The committee will be deciding what project to pursue with the expected grant monies from the Reimagining Rural program.
