Are you ready for some hometown fun? Homesteader Days 2022 will be a celebration of all the recreational things that make Valier a fun place to live and visit. The Valier Area Development Corporation (VADC) has chosen “Recreation the Valier Way!” as the theme for the annual event.

Connor Bridge is this year’s Homesteader Days Chairman. He is excited to bring some of the traditional events, as well as a couple new ideas to the party. “The pandemic has had people feeling kind of blah. I think it’s time we all had some fun,” described Bridge of his vision for the Homesteader Days weekend.

What do you think of when you think of Recreation in Valier? Softball? Yes, the three day softball tournament is on, beginning Friday evening and finishing up on Sunday. Contact Nichole Widhalm (406-788-0800) to register your team.

The annual Poker Ride combines horseback riding, ATVs, and a little luck at cards on Friday evening. Janelle Nelson will once again be the organizer for this event.
