Dillon Connelly of Valier competed in Great Falls last Saturday.

The Valier Panthers competed at the Fairfield/Belt State Preview Meet last Saturday in Great Falls. The Panthers failed to score a team point but did set three personal bests at the meet. 

Joe Ramos finished just out of the top ten in the 200 on his way to a personal best of 24.67. Rylee Gabbard also set a PR in the 200 with a time of 25.84. Dillon Connelly finished the race with a time of 28.98. 

Hyrum Briggs set a personal best of 95-09 in the discus while also competing in the shot put (34-01.5) and javelin (73-08). 

Connelly recorded a time of 14.08 in the 100 and a distance of 14-02 in the long jump. 

Ashlee Bowers was the lone female competitor for the Panthers. The local freshman recorded a time of 36.41 in the 200 and distances of 46-08 and 8-03 in the javelin and long jump. 

The Panthers were at the Jason Groseclose Memorial on Monday and will be at the BHM Meet on Saturday in Great Falls.
