Mike White, head coach for Shelby football has accepted the invitation to be an assistant coach for the 25th Annual Montana-North Dakota All-Star Football game on June 16. Sunburst Refiner, Treyton Pickering, has made the Montana side of the roster for this year’s 2018 Badlands Bowl as a tight end.

This interstate all-star game will be played in Dickinson, N.D., at 6 p.m. The primary objective of the game is to raise money for use by the Knights of Columbus in their charitable programs within the two states.

In addition, White has also accepted the invitation to be an assistant coach for the 72nd Montana East-West Shrine Game on July 21, at 7 p.m., held in the Great Falls Memorial Stadium. The theme is “Strong legs run, so weak legs may walk.” Pickering will again fill the position of tight end in this contest with Aaron White of Shelby joining him on the East side roster as a quarterback. Coyote defense end TJ Reynolds is an alternate.
