The Shelby Coyotes were in Cut Bank last week for the Pre-Easter Invite where the boys team finished fifth out of 16 teams in attendance. Rhett Reynolds won the high jump to pace the Coyotes while several of his teammates earned team points and finished with personal records in the meet. 

Reynolds cleared 5-10 to win the high jump and the freshman also set personal records in the 100 (12.85) and 200 (26.44) in Cut Bank. 

Fellow freshman Shaun Salveson placed third in the 400 with a time of 56.13 and also placed fifth in the 200 with a personal best time of 25.42. Salveson also had a personal record of 12.49 in the 100 but just missed out on placing in the meet. 

Brock Stores placed fourth in the 100 with a personal record of 12.35 and also had a personal best time of 26.41 in the 200 but did not place. Logan Leck placed fifth in the 400 with a time of 56.89 and set a personal record of 25.42 in the 200 to place sixth. Leck, Stores and Salveson teamed up with Tanner Parsons to place second in the 4x100 relay with a time of 47.56. Leck, Parsons and Salveson teamed up with Tanner Watson to place fourth in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:55.92.

The Coyotes will be in Whitefish for the Archie Roe Memorial meet on Friday, April 27 and at the Top 10 in Cascade on Tuesday.
