The Shelby Water Otters boasted four High Point winners to kick off the season at the conclusion of the Shelby Swim Meet last weekend. Taking High Point honors were, from back left, Carter Enneberg, Addison Richman, and Maddison Underdal; front, Logan Combs.

This weekend the Shelby Water Otters hosted the first meet of the season. After having a week full of practices before and after school, the Water Otters had an awesome first meet! We had four swimmers earn a high point trophy, meaning that they earned the most points in their age group. They were Logan Combs in the boys eight and under division, Addison Richman in the girls 9-10 age group, Carter Enneberg in the boys 11-12 age group and Maddison Underdal in the girls 15-19 age group. Shelby took first overall, with 600 team points!

Hosting a swim meet takes a lot of work, so I’d like to give a shout out to the parents, family members, friends and swimmers who helped make the meet a success. Congratulations to all of the Shelby swimmers who competed this weekend and good luck to those who will be traveling to Hamilton next weekend.
