It’s that time of year again! The You Pick Pumpkin Patch event at the Shelby Community Garden is on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10-2 p.m. We will open it up for a second night Monday, Oct. 5, after school until 6 p.m., for the remaining pumpkins. The Shelby Community Garden is located at the corner of 5th Street North and Westwood Avenue. Anyone and everyone is welcome. Please help spread the word to make this great event a success by telling your friends and family and please “like and share” our event on Facebook.

Please follow COVID-19 guidelines when picking pumpkins. Please wear a mask if Toole County has more than four cases and please remember to socially distance from other family groups.

We will have suggested donation options for the various pumpkins, squash and gourds! There are white, blue and regular pumpkins (10-60 lbs) and many gourds of all sizes! A few squash and pie pumpkins too!

All the money earned from the pumpkin goes back into the community garden for tools, equipment repairs and back into the pumpkin planting for next year!
