The Toole County Commissioners met on Wednesday, April 29. During this meeting the Commissioners approved the prior meeting’s minutes and took action on a couple of agenda items.

The Commissioners approved the ratification of Resolution 8-2020, a resolution to allow the chairman or vice-chairman of the Board of the Marias Medical Center and the Toole County Heritage Center the authority to sign documents pertaining to the Marias Medical Center and the Marias Heritage Center according to State Statute 2-3-112. This ratification is for the purpose of presenting the resolution in the minutes. This was an emergency resolution that the bank needed immediately to process the funds for the CARES Act.

The Commissioners also approved of the Board of Health’s recommendation of Dr. Hooker to be the Public Health Officer to take Dr. Hardy’s position.

The Commissioners’ meetings are open to the public but due to COVID-19 all public comment or questions need to be called in. The public can reach the Commissioners’ office at (406) 424-8310.
