Sister Foote, left, Sister Taua and Karen Jenson were just three of about 18 dedicated volunteers who helped make this year’s Auxiliary Rummage Sale, held at the Heritage Center, a great success last week.

Thank you to all those that donated to the annual Auxiliary Rummage Sale and came shopping! In spite of the scattered showers, we raised about $700 this year! We had over 18 volunteers help throughout the weekend and could not have done it without the additional help of some Marias Heritage Center and Marias Medical Center employees.

With the proceeds going towards the Heritage Center, it was the perfect place to hold the sale. Residents enjoyed shopping and donating and picking out items for their Bingo prizes! We are so grateful to the Heritage Center for allowing us to use their space, tables, and for serving lunch to the volunteers!

Though some of the donated items have been taken to Cedar Closet, Core Civic has been a tremendous help in taking the majority of the remaining proceeds down to Habitat for Humanity in Great Falls.

Here are the names of those volunteers:

Marlene Blair, Jessica Brusven, Shanice Cadotte, Diana Clark, Mary Christianson, Billiette Coolidge, Sister Foote, Marie Hemmer, Lena Horn, Marlene Howery, Karen Jenson, Darcy and Brogen McAllister, Carol Mundt, Sandy Peers, Diana Sonju, Vickie Sulenes, Sister Taua, Peggy Taylor, Karen Welker and Kathleen Welker.
