Last week the junior high Coyotes wrestled in Shelby for a mixer and also competed at the Conrad Invitational.
In Conrad the boys took third place, the girls finished fourth place, and overall the took second place.
Individual results were: Kyran Munson (80 pounds), fourth place; Sam Flesch (100 pounds), third place; Kagan Baney (95 pounds), second place; Leland Postma (130 pounds) first place; Lucius Johnson (150 pounds), fourth place; Paxton Flesch (150 pounds) first place; Reece Shandorf (165 pounds) third place; Trevor Seifert (185 pounds) third place; Draco Reynolds (185 pounds), first place; Aliza Bushnell (95 pounds) fourth place; Ellie Munson (115 pounds), second place; Kadence Montgomery (120 pounds), third place; Amelia Clark (165 pounds), third place.
This week the Iron Will award goes to Kegan Baney. He fought hard through all of his matches and it paid off for him.
Wrestler of the Week was given out to two kids this week. Kadence Montgomery went 5-1 on the week and beat a girl 16-6 that she has previously lost to twice. Paxton Flesch had a tough championship match, but ended up winning. He went 3-0 on the week.
