Shelby Headstart students were extremely grateful and excited about the free pumpkins they received during their recent field trip to Albertsons.

Calling all spooks, goblins, princesses, superheroes and fantasy creatures, your night to shine is quickly approaching and there is a multitude of spooktacular events to attend in celebration of Halloween in Shelby on Sunday, Oct. 31 and in Sunburst on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Trunk or Treat has become a popular alternative, or addition to, canvassing the streets and going door-to-door and this Halloween there are a couple Trunk or Treat events taking place.

The Toole County Sheriff’s Office and the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department also have some fun events planned!
