The second annual Shelby FFA Barbacoa was a delicious success with multiple competitors competing for the bragging rights of being the best.
This year’s first place overall winners were Chance and Tressa Keller with their melt-in-your-mouth baby back ribs. Second place winners, Gordon Smedsrud and Melissa Cady mastered a tasty smoked rhubarb cobbler and third place overall went to Brandon and Sarah Weis for their baby back ribs.
In the Best Dessert category Gordon and Melissa garnered those honors as well with the rhubarb cobbler. The People’s Choice Award went to Brandon and Sarah Weis for their delicious brisket.
