Jack Alvin DeZort, 83, of Cut Bank, Mont., passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, in Great Falls, Mont., at Benefis Hospital. No services are planned at this time.
Jack was born Oct. 21, 1938, in Cut Bank. He graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1956 and served in the Army for two years in Germany. He returned home to Cut Bank and went to work in the oil field for some time. After that he worked for Montana Power Company for 30 years before retiring.
After retirement, Jack operated MJB Secondhand Store. Jack had a passion for collecting and saw value in everything.
His life’s story has now been written and we will have all the memories and stories to tell.
Jack is survived by his daughter Terry Arrotta, son-in-law Michael Arrotta and grandchildren Vanessa Arrotta and Derek Arrotta and family. Jack is also survived by his sister Maxine Volkman and family along with many cousins.
He was preceded in death by daughter Brenda Lee DeZort, parents Louis and Anna DeZort and brothers Bud DeZort, Steve DeZort and Phillip DeZort.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all who helped him and his daughter in his time of need. It has been truly appreciated.
