Arlin Berdett Benjaminson, 85-years-old, of Sunburst, Mont., passed peacefully Sept. 27, 2020, at Kalispell Regional Healthcare surrounded by his wife and family. There will be a service for Arlin at a later date.
Arlin was born Sept. 16, 1935, to Anna and Bertin Benjaminson in Langhei Township, Minn. He was confirmed at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck, Minn., in 1950 by Rev. Oscar Rem. He attended Country School in Langhei and graduated from Starbuck High School in 1953.
In 1959 Arlin married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Loretta Gorder, in Minneapolis, at Concordia Lutheran Church by Rev. Lystig. Arlin and Loretta lived in Minneapolis and moved to Montana in 1960. They had four children, Camile, Paula, Michael and Loretta (deceased).
Throughout his life he worked on farms, served in the Minnesota Air National Guard, worked for a jet fuel company in Wolf Point, Mont., at Big West in Kevin, Petro-Lewis in Conrad and oil fields in North Toole County. Arlin retired in 1998.
