Eudelma passed away at the age of 63 after a long illness. Eudelma, the great grandson of Mary Ground (Grass Woman), was born on Aug. 3, 1957 in Browning, Mont. and he died on June 21, 2020 in Lewistown, Mont.

He went by the name of Eudelma Arrowtop and Whitegrass. Eudelma attended school in Browning and Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, Utah. But he spent most of his life living in Starr School and Browning on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

Eudelma was a survivor of the tragic flood of 1964. He was an avid bodybuilder, basketball player, firefighter and enjoyed spending time with his friends and relatives. He had a familiar humor for those who were close to him and he was very close to his grandmother, Cecile Grant, and would spend time with her at every opportunity until her death. After suffering a traumatic brain injury he was moved to State care in Lewistown Montana.

Eudelma is survived by his sisters Mona Faye Whitegrass (Upham) and Alarice Whitegrass; numerous nieces and nephews; and his grandchildren Jeffery Running Crane, Jeremy Last Star and Kenland Loring.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Sylvester J. Arrowtop Knot and Alfreda B. Whitegrass; sister Charlene Running Rabbit; brothers, Eddie Running Rabbit, Daryl Ell Whitegrass-Arrowtop, and Harlon J. Whitegrass; his niece Misty Anne Upham; his son Sylvester Lane Last Star and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
