Vicki Ann Atwood Sparks passed away due to complications from heart surgery at St. Patrick’s hospital in Missoula, Mont., on July 18, 2021. This was very unexpected. Private services will be held at a later date in Silver Star in Montana.
Vicki was born to Leigh and Shirley Atwood on June 24, 1949 in Glendive, Mont.
The family later was transferred to Baker, Mont., then on to Eldorado, Kan. and finally to Cut Bank, Mont., in 1964., where she attended and graduated from Cut Bank High school in 1968.
After graduating she went on to beauty school at Joslin Beauty College. She worked many years there as a beautician. She met and married John Sparks, where they later moved to Hemet, Calif. They later divorced.
While in Hemet she worked at Seven Hills Golf Course where she met her forever partner Bill Pawley. They later moved back to Montana making their home in Jefferson Acres at Silver Star. She and Bill loved to take many trips throughout the year going to Laughlin, Jackpot, California and other getaway places in which they both loved.
She attended Komen Race For The Cure in Helena every year where her sisters met her and they all enjoyed a awesome sisters weekend.
She loved to golf, fish, hunt and float the many rivers in their area. In the summer she had her nieces and nephews come down to spend time with them where they would let the kids 4-wheel, take them camping, swimming and floating.
She is survived by her sisters Brenda Moench ( Louis), Rhonda Lewis (Terry), Lori Hagen (Jerome), and Cathi Atwood; many nieces, nephews and the greats; her forever partner Bill Pawley and his sons, Luke, Josh, & Jacob.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Leigh and Shirley Atwood; and brothers, Bobby and Erwin Atwood.
Love you more Vicki Ann.
