Wanda Syth Ferguson, age 62, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at the hospice home in Billings with her three daughters at her side.

She was born Feb. 3, 1958 in Sidney, Mont., the daughter of Hallie and Dorothy Syth.

Wanda grew up in Cut Bank, Mont. At age 16, she went to Job Corps in Astoria, Ore. and earned a General Education Degree (GED).

Wanda was a devoted mother and diligent worker at all jobs she was called to perform. She worked for many years at Crown Hill Plaza, now known as the Sheraton Hotel in Billings until her retirement due to health issues.

Survivors include her three daughters, Dawn Welter, Angie Ferguson (Cody) and Shayna Ferguson (Garret) and five grandchildren in Billings; brother Randy Syth and his daughters and grandson in Florida; brother Ron and his wife Eileen in Spokane, Wash.; sister Patti and husband Thomas Reardon in Cut Bank; nephews and nieces she loved, Cecilia (Mike) Dean of Havre, Margaret Morsette, Crystal (Morsette) Albers, Janet Morsette, John Morsette, Wayne Morsette and thirteen grand nephews and nieces.

Wanda’s family will bring her home to be laid to rest with her father Hallie Syth and mother Dorothy Syth in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Cut Bank. A memorial service for family and friends will be held in Billings in the summer of 2020, with a barbecue. Date to be announced later.
