Mr. Marvin Cook, of Sweet Grass passed away at the age of 70 on Monday, June 10, 2019.
A memorial service will be held in August, at his favorite fishing hole, Tiber Dam.
Marvin was born in Ellsworth, Kan., on Feb. 5, 1949, to Ila Mae Prellwitz. Marvin was a member of many communities across Montana, and everywhere he went he left an impression on everyone. Marvin never met a stranger, and all who knew him loved him.
Marvin was an avid fisherman and his favorite place to be in life was at the lake, whether fishing from the shore or in the boat, on the prowl for the next big walleye, a magnificent trout or his favorite, perch.
Marvin is survived by his mother, Ila; his three brothers, Richard, Harold and Harry; his children, Bill, Bob and Teresa; his grandchildren, Korey, Andrea, Kameron, Kacey, Courtney, Jerimiah, Ashton, Corrdell and Lanie; his great-grandchildren, Marley, Mila, Xavier, Vincent, Jayde, Bria and a great-granddaughter due in August; his adopted daughter, Michelle; and his closest friends, Bill, Mike, Terry and Mary Jane.
Marvin is preceded in death by the love of his life, Cathy Leinen.
