John Edward “Ed” House of Winston, Mont., died Dec. 26, 2020, at University of Utah Health in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was 69. A memorial service will be held at a later date when gatherings can safely go forward.

Ed was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Cut Bank, Mont., to Robert and Ella House. A Cut Bank High graduate, he spent the bulk of his professional life as a long-haul truck driver. He worked as a driver for several companies in the western United States before becoming an owner-operator. 

He met his wife Lolly in Bakersfield, Calif., where their two children were born and raised until the family moved back to Montana in 2003.

Ed is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vivian “Lolly” Re; his son, Robert Anthony House; his daughter, Kimberly Price and her husband Christopher; and his siblings, Roberta DesRosier, Joan Sheppard, Sidney House, Alice Terpe, and Lawrence House. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ella House, and siblings Dorothy Grisetti, Dan House and Sharon House.
