Earl Joseph Lahr, 71, “Joe” passed away Aug. 11, 2019 in Browning.
He was born Nov. 22, 1947 in Missoula to Earl Henry Lahr and Leona Margaret (Goss) Lahr and was raised in Dixon. He graduated from Belcourt, N.D. and lived in New Town, N.D., Seattle, Wash., Oakland, Calif., and Browning.
Earl was a retired road construction man. He helped start the CDL Program at Blackfeet Community College while teaching heavy equipment and truck driving. He enjoyed running heavy equipment and truck driving whenever he could.
He was preceded in death by his mother Leona Goss Lahr, his father Earl Henry Lahr, sister Carol Ann Lahr Lavendure, and children Holly Ann Lahr and Eric Juneau.
He married his wife Tracy (Marceau) on June 14, 2008 and she survives him as well as his children, Les Lahr, Steffanie Lahr, Leona Lahr and Mike Juneau; 14 grandchildren and a sister Judy Lahr Racine.
A wake was held in Browning at Old Eagle Shield Center with Mass being celebrated on Friday, Aug. 16 at Little Flower Parish in Browning.
