On March 30, 2020, the Creator wanted my beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle home to be with his family.
There will be a graveside service at the Holy Family Mission, Two Medicine, at 2 p.m. Monday, May 4. There will be a memorial at a later date this summer.
Gary Eugene Racine, 81, was born Aug. 15, 1938, in Browning. Gary was an Army veteran. He spent most of his working career as a sheriff’s deputy and Blackfeet Tribal Police Officer. He also worked for GSA Motorpool in Browning.
Gary loved to hunt, fish, camping - he and all the family hunted and trapped, along with his great friends. He loved all of his family; the grandkids were always special, sitting with him and visiting about their accomplishments.
Gary is survived by his wife, Bette Fenner Racine; sons Gary T. Racine, Ronnie Racine and Steve Racine; stepsons Roy Whitford and Rick Whitford; daughters Gayla Kameroff and Mamie Albert; stepdaughter Rose Whitford; all of his nephews and nieces; and sisters Karene Young Running Crane and Maresha Head.
All of his special grandkids he loved dearly. All of Gary’s children were special to him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aloysius Racine; mother, Maxine Gobert Racine; brothers Leroy J. Racine, Baptise Tyrone Racine, Joseph A. Racine, Dale R. Racine and Rocky A. Racine; and his sisters Bernadette Racine Red Head and Twilla Linda Racine.
