Richard Michael Cline, aka “Papa,” 69, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, Aug. 5, 2019.
Memorial services will be held at The Gardens in Fallon, NV on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019 at 11 a.m., with full military honors. Celebration of life will follow after the services at the American Legion on 90 N. Ada Street in Fallon, NV.
Papa was born in Cut Bank on Jan. 5, 1950 to Emma and Richard Cline. He graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1968 prior to joining the United States Navy on July 22, 1970 until his retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 on Aug. 1, 1993.
Papa retired from the work force as an Irrigation Manager on NAS Fallon after working several years. He was also a proud and life member of the American Legion, Post 16.
Papa enjoyed sitting in his garage contemplating pro-jects, watching the cooking channel, researching new recipes, and watching Jeopardy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Karen Cline; his children, Jeff (Sabrina) Cline, Tammi (Larry), Chris (Lyndsey) Cline; brother Rod (Lisa) Cline; sister Mona (Owen) White; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Papa was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Emma and Richard Cline; brother Jeff Cline; sister-in-law Paula Jean; brother-in-law Jeffrey Sib-ley and his favorite mother-in-law Faye Qualls.
