Lyla “Newts” Sinclair, 64, passed away at Browning, Mont., on Dec. 14, 2019.  

Services were held at Little Flower Parish, Browning, on Dec. 19, 2019, followed by burial at Willow Creek Cemetery.

Lyla was born Sept. 27, 1955, at Browning, to Richard and Arlene Sinclair.  She was raised and educated in Blackfoot, Mont., and Browning. Lyla was educated in Browning and in cosmetology at Billings, Mont; and then in Missoula, Mont., and Great Falls, Mont., as a social worker and medical secretary. 

She worked as a homemaker and lived in Great Falls and Browning. Her favorite interests were family gatherings, being a devoted grandmother and mother, family picnics, singing, and story telling to all the little children.  

Lyla was preceded in death by her brothers Ralph and Dwight Sinclair and granddaughter Braelyn Kay Trombley.  

She is survived by her parents Richard and Arlene Sinclair; son David, daughters Michaila and Sylvia Sinclair; grandchildren Serenity, David, Dylan, Kaydance, Jadyn, Linda, Isaiah, and Logan; siblings Georgia (Stormy), Richard (Christy), Keven (Dan), Shane, Victoria (Josh); and all her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
