Sandra K. Garcia, 64, of Sunburst, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, from multiple strokes, with her sisters and mother by her side. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 20, at 2 p.m., at Cut Bank Cemetery, followed with food and gathering at her home in Sunburst.
Sandra was born on Feb. 17, 1956, in Missoula. She went to grade school in Missoula and high school in Bloomington, Calif. Sandra went to nursing school after she graduated high school.
Sandra and her husband, Carlos Garcia, moved back to Montana and they both went to work at W. Moberly Brokerage in Sweet Grass. W. Moberly was bought out by UPS Brokerage and they both continued to work with UPS. Carlos and Sandra were both members of St. Thomas Aquiras Church in Sunburst.
Sandra is survived by her mother, Mary Martin; siblings, Audrey Martin Gossman, Carla Martin Maedche (Randy Maedche) and Tony Martin (Gina Martin); daughters, Anna Campbell (Ben Campbell) and grandsons, Noah and Isacc Campbell, Angela Ovindorff (Brian Ovindorff) and stepson, Carlos Angel Garcia (Liz Garcia); sister-in-laws, Maria Cortes, Felicitas Garcia Agulora, Ana Garcia; brother-in-laws, Greg Garcia, Ignacia Garcia; mother-in-law, Felicitas Garcia; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos, the love of her life; her father, Wayne Martin; her brother, Keith Martin; sister, Signe Martin; niece and nephew, Crystal and Joey Hunt; and her granddaughter, Amelia Campbell.
Sandra will truly be missed by all who knew her. She was a very loving and giving child of God.
