Michael T. Money passed away at his home in Polson, Mont., on Oct. 30, 2020 from sudden, severe onset of Myelodysplastic Syndrome. A celebration of life will be planned in the spring.
Mike was born in 1951 in Cut Bank, Mont., to Sandy and Rosemary Money. He was the youngest of five children. He graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1969 and Montana State University in 1978 with a B.S. Geographical Planning /Architecture.
Mike was fortunate to have two loves during his lifetime. He married Noreen Zapp of Cut Bank in 1970. Two amazing sons were born from that union, Tony and Joe. He married Diane “Peanuts” Patch (his “bride” as she was affectionately known) in 1996 and felt blessed at the loving relationship he established with the extended Patch family.
Mike held many positions throughout his life (city planning, real estate and banking). He recently retired as the Vice President of Big Sky Western Bank in Bozeman. Mike and Peanuts retired to Polson. Mike felt his life was an odyssey.
He was fortunate to meet many lifelong friends over the years and cherished the memories of the many parties and laughs they enjoyed together. He enjoyed fond memories of his Uncle Tom Sheridan and the Sheridan cousins.
Left to carry on the party here on earth are his wife (Peanuts), sons (Tony and Joe), three beautiful grandchildren (Anabelle, Angelina and Mathew), his sister Sandra and Loren Hagge and family (Kevin and Kari), sister Pat Money, nephews Danny and Kelly Morrow and numerous cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father and mother (Sandy and Rosemary Money), his brother (Raymond), his sister (Sheri Morrow), daughter-in-law (Pam Money), and aunts, uncles and cousins.
