Leonard Lee IronPipe, 73, passed away at Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Mont. on Aug. 10, 2021.
Leonard was born on May 26, 1947, in Browning, Mont. to Paul Iron Pipe Sr., and Irene Looking for Smoke. He was raised on Little Badger, Montana where he lived and ranched. He soon married Eva Lee Hall on Oct. 11, 1970, and worked at the Blackfeet Tribal Health.
Leonard enjoyed going to rodeos, watching the grandkids play sports, and liked to travel. When Leonard was younger, he enjoyed trapping and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his Mother Irene Looking for Smoke; Father Paul Iron Pipe Sr.; brothers Gaylord Iron Pipe, Stanley Iron Pipe, Paul Iron Pipe Jr., Theodore Iron Pipe, Bob ManyGuns, Jess SpottedBear; and
son Ronald Hall Sr.
He is survived by his wife Eva Iron Pipe; daughter Leonda Lynn Iron Pipe; sons Craig Iron Pipe, Lee Iron Pipe, Mike McNabb;
grandkids Angie (Jay) Monroe, Cydnie (Dolon) SaddleBack, Tommy (Jue) Iron Pipe, Jake (Nikki) Sharp, Derek Sharp, Gayrell Hall, Rolanda Hall, Ronald Hall Jr., Roni Lee Hall, Preston Hall, Tashina McNabb, Nathan McNabb, Cody McNabb; and sisters Eileen BirdRattler and Victoria Rutherford.
