Tamika Guardipee puts up a shot during a pre-Christmas game against Polson.

Noting that nearly all his players had scored against Cut Bank in the Jan. 10 home game, Lady Indians Coach Ray Augare said, “They played really well the whole game.”

Coach Augare said Cut Bank only had four players who were scoring so it was just a matter of concentrating their defense accordingly. Tamika Guardipee led the way with 14 points, followed by Mecca Bullchild with 11, Walker Running Crane and Dulci Skunkcap 10, Chalissa Kipp nine, Kelsey Mad Plume and Payton Crossguns four, Alena Burdeau three and Hailey Racine with two points.

This week, the Lady Indians play a pair of highly rated teams, beginning with an away game at Columbia Falls on Thursday, Jan. 16, with the C Squad starting at 4 p.m., the  JVs at 5:30 and the varsity at 7 p.m. Then on Friday, Jan. 17, they host Havre for the home crowd with the C Squad starting at 3 p.m., JVs at 4:30 and the varsity at 6 p.m.
