Browning’s Quinten Campos battles Elijah Ratliff of Thompson Falls during a recent match at the Cut Bank Booster Invitational.

Coach Casey McDonald reports that only eight of his wrestlers competed at the Polson Duals on Thursday, Jan. 16, losing in team scoring to the Pirates, 39-36, but beating Libby, 32-30. No individual results were available.

Then on Saturday, Jan. 18, they traveled to Missoula for the John Fisher tournament, with several wrestlers earning places on the winners podium. Among them were Chris Hall in fifth place at 103, Aaron Wells in second at 145, Ashton Flamand taking seventh at 120, Brendyn Whiteman in fourth at 205, Charlie Bullcalf claiming fifth at 182, Chucky Braverock in sixth at heavyweight, and Quentin Campos taking sixth at 132.

This week, the Browning matmen are slated to be in Lewistown on Jan. 24-25 for the Central A Duals.
