Browning sophomore Joe Bull Shoe pulls up to set up the offense in Cut Bank Friday night as referee Frank Goings follows the play.

The Browning Runnin’ Indians basketball team made short work of the Cut Bank Wolves on Friday, Feb. 7, holding them to single digits in all but one quarter and winning by 44 points, 77-33.

“Everybody scored, and it was a total team effort,” Coach Dan Connelly said of the one-sided game. He noted Riley Spoonhunter scoring 21 points and Jordan Calf Looking coming off the bench for nine.

It wasn’t a challenging game, but this week things turn around, starting on Thursday, Feb. 13, when they’ll be traveling to Columbia Falls where the freshmen start at 3:30 p.m., JVs at 5, and the varsity plays at 6:30 p.m. Then on Friday, Feb. 14, they host Havre to Parents Night. The Runnin’ Indians will be looking to even the score following their loss to the Blue Ponies in their first encounter. The freshmen start at 3 p.m., JVs at 4:30 and the varsity plays at 6 p.m.
