Payton Crossguns digs up a Whitefish serve, watched by Hailey Racine in the second-to-last match of the 2019 regular season.

The Lady Indians volleyball team took on a pair of opponents last week, hosting Whitefish for Senior Night on Tuesday, Oct. 29, then traveling to Columbia Falls on Saturday, Nov. 2. The former encounter was lost in three sets, 25-21, 25-12 and 25-16, all going to Whitefish. On Saturday, similar scores were posted, with Browning losing three sets, 25-10, 25-17 and 25-13.

Browning’s coach was unavailable for statistics or comments, except to say that the Lady Indians were set to face a rematch with Whitefish on Monday, Nov. 4, the results of which would determine whether Browning advances to the Western A playoffs in Dillon this weekend or their season ends with the Whitefish game.
