The Lady Indians softball team played a two-day tournament at Frenchtown last weekend, and while they didn’t score any wins, Coach Jim Vaile was upbeat about their progress. “The girls showed a lot of improvement in the Frenchtown tournament,” he said. “Even though we did not win, the girls are starting to hit the ball really hard and playing as a team.”

This week, the Lady Indians travel to Polson on Friday, May 3, for games that start at 3 and 5 p.m.; then hometown fans will have a chance to catch them in Browning as they host Libby for a double-header on Saturday, May 4, with the first game starting at 1 p.m.
