The Lady Indians played their last games of the season at Columbia Falls on May 20, but their opponents were the Maidens from Ronan as they made up a remaining game from the 2019 schedule.

“They played a really good game,” Coach Jim Vaile said. “We were down, zero to four, but it was a good game; it was just fielding issues is all. They played really tough for their last game. They came together in the last part of the season and started playing softball really well. We made lots of progress, but we’re losing six seniors who will be greatly missed for their leadership and experience.”

Two players were named to all-conference teams this season, including Montana Bremner who made first team all-conference at infield while Candace Still Smoking made second team all-conference at catcher.

This year’s seniors include Kiyanna Rides At The Door, Candace Still Smoking, Jazlyn Gallineaux, Aliyah Skunkcap, Traylyn Kennerly, Lindsey Old Person and Mikayla Sinclair. “We still have three or four who have been with the program for three years, so we have good prospects,” Coach Vaile said of next year’s team.
