Blackfeet enrolled Tribal Elders living on the Reservation, 60 years of age or older, are qualified to receive one free turkey per household. The event is sponsored by the Eagle Shield Senior Center, the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council and AARP Montana.

The distribution will take place at the Eagle Shield Center beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, until the turkeys are gone. First come, first served.

Homebound elders who cannot leave their homes should call 338-7257 to designate a person who will pick up a turkey.

For more information, stop by the Eagle Shield Center office or call 338-7257.
