The Blackfeet Tribe Business Council took action on Friday, July 10, to extend the current stay at home order until July 31.

The motion passed on a 7-1 vote. Tim Davis voted against the measure and Mark Pollock was absent.

In addition, Blackfeet Incident Command has posted an online survey for Reservation residents, saying, “The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council would like to know more about how COVID-19 has directly affected you and your family so that we can make decisions that best support the Blackfeet Nation.

“Throughout our history we have faced and overcome obstacles, and COVID-19 will be no different. Our intention is to invest in the Blackfeet Nation and our people so that we are stronger and healthier than we were before this public health crisis. We know that your input will help us make these difficult decisions.”
