The Pardue Bridge was recently rebuilt and will soon have a new name. Glacier County officials decided to rename the bridge, located on Pardue Road, the Victor Connelly Memorial Bridge upon a recommendation of Glacier County DES Coordinator Charles Farmer, friends and relatives. The signs have been made and are ready to be installed thanks to the efforts of Glacier County Roads Supervisor John Evans. An official renaming ceremony will be held later on next month with family, Tribal and County officials. Connelly graciously granted the construction crew an easement/right-of-way to reroute temporary traffic around the bridge on his land. Connelly was a successful rancher, businessman, tribal employee and was well-known throughout all of Glacier County.
