The new Arrowhead Stadium at Browning High School was properly opened on Friday, Sept. 3, as singers, drummers and dancers performed for a packed crowd in Browning before last Friday night’s football game.

Numbers of COVID-19 cases in Blackfeet Country stood at 32 active with four new cases having been reported as of Friday, Sept. 3. Of the 32, 13 were fully vaccinated while two were partially vaccinated. Fourteen had no vaccines and the status of three is unknown. One is hospitalized.

To date, a total of 1,505 have been diagnosed with COVID-19, with 1,435 having recovered. Forty-eight have perished; more than 150 have been quarantined; and more than 8,700 have been vaccinated.

This report is for the reservation and does include numbers from Glacier and Pondera counties.

Please be safe. If you are not vaccinated it is recommended by the CDC to continue wearing a mask.

Please get vaccinated or complete your second vaccine dose if you haven’t already. Vaccination is provided to assist in preventing serious illness, hospitalization and death.
