The Iinnii Film Festival, in partnership with the Blackfeet Community College Medicine Spring Art Show, is being held Friday, April 26 at the Yellow Bird Woman Lodge on the BCC campus.

The concept of the film festival was to feature Iinnii (buffalo) films “Bring Them Home” and “Iniskim” by Daniel Glick from Thunder Heart Films.

Realizing that there were many other short and feature films that could be included in a daylong film festival, we asked for other contributing film-makers. There are 16 total films that feature either Iinnii, our language, our culture, our land or our everyday way of life in the Blackfoot Confederacy.

We hope that you may join us for all or part of the film festival. The Iinnii Initiative realizes that the artists in our community are our voices to the world, and we celebrate them.

Please also join us for the artists reception on Thursday, April 25 at the Medicine Spring Library.
