Counting went late in the 2018 Browning School Board election, with voters casting ballots for the 14 candidates in what turned out to be a close race. Voters were able to vote for as many as three candidates to fill the vacant seats, and a total of 964 votes were cast.

Unofficial results show Rae Tall Whiteman garnering 398 votes, followed by Wendy Linn Bremner with 323 and Donna Yellow Owl with 253, sending the trio to occupy the contested positions.
