As one of the few coffee roasters in Montana and the sole indigenous operation, Clarence Smith is starting his business in Blackfeet Country.

“Chief Mountain Coffee is one of only a few Native American coffee roasting companies in the U.S.,” Smith said.

A 1992 graduate from Browning High School, Smith began his entrepreneurial journey with a carpet cleaning enterprise in Denver, Colorado, called Dream Catcher Carpet Cleaning.
