Cut Bank High School senior Samantha Burke has recently signed to continue her softball career at the next level with Miles Community College in Miles City. 

Burke, who spent last season in centerfield and the pitching circle for the Cut Bank Lady Wolves, signed with the Miles program as an outfielder. The local slugger recorded a batting average of .441 during her junior season as well as an on base percentage of .626 and she belted out seven home runs last season. 

The 2019-20 season was set to be the inaugural season for the Miles softball program. The team finished 11 games before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
